What Is Responsible Gaming and Why Does It Matter?
Online betting and casino games can be an enjoyable form of entertainment when approached with the right mindset and planning. 678bg has always believed that gaming is a hobby — not a source of income, and it should never become one. Responsible gaming means setting your own budget, sticking to time limits, and accepting the outcome of each game.
We understand that the excitement of playing can sometimes get out of hand. That is why 678bg provides a range of protection tools for all its users — so you can set your own limits and take a break whenever you need one. Our goal is not only to entertain, but to ensure the mental and financial well-being of every player.
Online gaming is steadily growing in Bangladesh. 678bg believes that alongside this growth, building a culture of responsibility is extremely important. That is why we present all our policies and tools to you with full transparency.
Our Protection Tools
Deposit Limit
Set the maximum amount you can deposit per day, per week, or per month yourself. Once a limit is set, it takes effect immediately. Increasing a limit requires a waiting period, which helps you make more considered decisions.
Time-Out
If you want to take a break for a few days, use the time-out feature. You can temporarily close your account for anywhere from 1 day to several weeks. During this period, logging in or placing bets will not be possible.
Self-Exclusion
If you feel that gaming is getting out of your control, choose self-exclusion. With this feature, your account will remain closed for an extended period. To request self-exclusion, contact the 678bg support team.
Loss Limit
Decide in advance how much loss you can handle within a given period. Once you reach your loss limit, gaming will be automatically stopped for that period.
Reality Check
You will be reminded at regular intervals how long you have been playing and how much has been deposited or withdrawn. These notifications help you stay aware and make the right decisions.
Help and Advice

Age Restriction — For Ages 21 and Above Only
678bg strictly enforces the 21+ age limit. Opening an account or gaming by anyone under 21 is completely prohibited. Identity is verified at registration, and accounts are immediately closed in suspicious cases. Parents can use family internet filters to keep their children away from this platform.
Recognising the Warning Signs of a Problem
If you notice the following signs, it may be important to take a break from gaming and seek professional help.
- You find yourself repeatedly placing larger bets to try to win back money you have lost.
- Gaming is causing harm to your relationships with family or friends, or affecting your work.
- You are going beyond your budget by borrowing money or dipping into your savings to play.
- You feel restless, irritable, or anxious when you are not gaming.
- You are hiding how much you are gaming or how long you spend playing from others.
- You want to stop gaming but keep failing to do so.
- Gaming no longer feels enjoyable — it has started to feel like an obligation.
Top Tips for Safe Gaming
Set a Budget
Decide on your budget before each session and do not deposit more than that amount. Never use your core savings to cover losses.
Set a Time Limit
Decide in advance how long you will play each day. Set an alarm or reminder so you can stop gaming when your allotted time is up.
Accept Losses as Normal
Winning and losing are both a normal part of gambling or betting. Placing even larger bets to try to recover lost money can make the problem worse.
Check Your Emotional State
Avoid gaming when you are angry, frustrated, stressed, or feeling lonely. Decisions made in the heat of emotion often lead to regret.
Treat It as Entertainment
Think of gaming as a form of entertainment rather than a way to earn money — just like spending on a cinema ticket or a meal out.
Take Regular Breaks
Take breaks during long sessions — drink some water, go for a walk, or do something else. Decisions made with a fresh mind tend to be much better.
